Post-market studies need special attention

Post-market surveillance (PMS) has become increasingly demanding in terms of the scientific standards involved. At the same time, the complexity that comes from large numbers of patients and sites requires lean management processes. SSS has built up significant knowledge over the past number of years in PMS studies conducted with various sponsors and applying different approaches.

SSS’s experience with national and international PMS studies

SSS has run PMS studies in a number of different indications, including

  • Atrial fibrillation
  • Heart failure
  • Psoriasis
  • Soft tissue tumours
  • Tuberous sclerosis complex
  • Urticaria
  • Venous thromboembolism

and many more.

To date, SSS has managed up to 625 sites and up to six countries per project in national and international PMS studies.

SSS is perfectly attuned to the demands of PMS studies

Site management

It can be difficult to generate the necessary site attention needed for accurate and compliant study conduct in PMS studies. We offer professional and premium site management to deliver optimum site support with the involvement of native-speaker CRAs.

Site and patient recruitment

SSS has an excellent clinical network with a broad database of potential sites covering virtually every therapeutic indication you can think of. We know how to act and communicate in a clinical setting and our excellent reputation has been useful in overcoming patient recruitment challenges in the past.

Lean project management

Handling site numbers of more than 600 is a challenging task requiring honed IT systems and routines. We use our accSIS CTMS for effective central management of key study information, FAQs, templates and documents for our team and clinical trial sponsors, circumventing information imbalance, inconsistent information repositories and uncontrolled parallel processes. Our sophisticated computerized procedures show us the fastest way to do things, enabling us to meet tight budgets and timelines.
